Second Early Seed Potatoes

Second Early Potatoes are usually dug as a follow on from first earlies to extend the 'new potato' season.  But if left in the ground a bit longer most are equally successful for storage and use as a maincrop.

Planting in a well-dug soil with plenty of organic matter will improve yields considerably. For the best crops, water frequently particularly in hot dry spells.
