Onion Seeds

Sow our Onion seeds when conditions are right for a good tilth (fine, crumbly soil) to be obtained (late February/March) in drills 12-15in/30-38cm apart and 2cm deep.

Alternatively sow indoors in modules in January or February. Sow five or six seeds to a module. Plant out in April, the little clumps of bulbs from each module will push themselves apart as they grow in size.
